Actually, I can't tell you who the winner is, I don't know their names, but it wasn't us! If only Barry had ripped his shirt off at the end, as I suggested. However, we made the first elimination out of two, so we were in the top 5!! I was terribly nervous; looking out at thousands of people while you dance a routine you had three hours to spend rehearsing is overwhelming! But Barry got me through it (and God!) and we had a great experience. Karina Smirnoff actually joked with Barry when we stood waiting to be announced! She is even more beautiful in person, and the show itself, with all the professionals, was magnificent. Louis and Karina performed a tango (my favorite) that was so beautiful and touching it stunned me- truly a piece of living art that they shared with the audience. I felt blessed to see that, and it was my absolute favorite dance moment EVER.
So, for my second competition, I think top 5 is good enough, especially when my first competition was only three days earlier!! I have the best teacher in the world, my darling B, and he has done so much to turn my tapping feet into somewhat of a pair of ballroom feet (right now, I have sore and angry feet...) . What an exciting life we have, my sweet, adventurous husband and I! Papa said we have "more nerve than Dick Tracy"...I like that!

Faith said that I can not say you look Hot that is just wrong! I told her that when she gets old like me and you and someone says we look Hot it is nice to hear! She was so funny when she saw that I had written that.
I guess I should clairify that I really don't think that we are old but in Faith's eyes we are! Just wanted you to know that. I love to look at yours and Mary's bolgs but I just can't make myself start one. I guess i'm just a chicken as to who might get into my info not to mention the fact that Thomas would have a fit! He can't stand these things. Of course he likes to look at other peoples though I don't think that is fare.O well I will just have fun looking at yours and Mary's. Talk to you all soon!
